12/13/01 We will start a guild lotto soon, There will be 3 lotto ranges, Noobie Lotto (blackbird) 2pp to participate, Mid range (Crow) 25pp and upper range (Raven) lotto 100pp to participate. A number between 1 and 100 will be posted here, and we will do /random roles of dice to determine winners. Each member who participates will get one roll, and only when there name is called to roll. If anyone rolls when not called, you are disqualified and you forfeit your entry fee. Entries will have to be in by the Friday preceding the Lotto day. No late entries will be accepted. And of course you will have to be present to participate. If no winners the money will role over to the next weeks drawings. We will post the amounts of the lotto here as we get them. Drawings will be (Tentatively) on Saturdays, evening hours. May the moon light your path. Teak Willowhawk
12/12/01 Finally, we are officially a guild YEA! We got our tags last night, so anyone who has not been invited in, send me a tell tonight or when you see me next. And again if I have missed a name in the members list, let me know so I can correct that. I have been very busy with tells so I am sure I have missed some messages. Now we go to work building the best guild in Norrath, =) We will have to be, umm, a bit more lenient with guild recruitment's for now, so I will amend our rules, until we get our membership up a bit higher. Someone said to me last night that the name Raven Moon sounds like it could be a PK guild, well the whole idea was to make people wonder, if they are thinking about us, then we are getting recognized, =) And we want to try and keep a bit of a mystery about us, I think the name is a bit more intriguing than "counsel of whatever" or "Defenders of white bread" And if people think the Raven is a Totem of Evil, then they don't know the myth & lore of the Raven. I would like to thank the following people for accepting the responsibilities of these positions.
Treymian as First Officer , he has shown to be a very trustworthy advisor and has played a big part in getting all this going for us.
Gluerien as War Commander, Gluerian has been first officer and Raid leader in many past guilds and has a deep background in these areas.
Lady Kastlyn as Minister of finance, This is a position of great trust since it entail the care and keeping of guild money, Lady Kastlyn has my complete trust, please give her yours as well my friends.
Dackira as Captain of the Guards, Dackira will be in charge of the home guard, a group who's main objective is to protect the Queen during formal guild functions, during war time, and to simply make her look good, =) I wonder if he can teach them to march in formation?
These position hold higher rank in the guild, so remember who you are addressing, if a higher officer has reason to remove another member I will grant it. The purpose of a chain of command is so the leader does not have to deal with every issue that arises. It is simply impossible to do with so many people involved. So please show proper respect, when and where it is appropriate.
And remember, number one rule here is to have fun! =)

12/04/01 We will be needing help with the guild soon. If you think you want to play a bigger role let me know. We will need
Position filled 1) First officer, one who can take charge in my and Moonllights absence.
Position filled 2) War commander, to set up and lead raids.
Position filled 3) Ambassador, To negotiate alliances, treaties (or wars) with other guilds.
Position filled 4) Minister of finance, To keep and track money for games, lottos and award.
5) Master of ceremony's, To perform weddings, and blessings before war, and to set up parties and events.
I believe this will have to be a monk or cleric to perform weddings, not sure.
6) Counselor / Morale officer, Someone to settle disputes if any arise between guild members, and to keep morale high,
this will have to be a people person. There judgment in disputes will be final. I guess they could
go by Judge Advocate General, =) Dispute may be taken to our Queen at the counselors discretion for final decision.
Position filled 7) Captain of the Guards, To lead the home guard in protecting our Queen during formal guild functions &
during war time with other guilds, and to create a group where similar level members can group or raid together when
the home guard is not needed.
8) Home Guards, we need 5-10 individuals for the home guard, these should be a mix of tanks, casters and healers
in a level range of 21 to 28. See Teak or Dackira for consideration of this position. Do to different leveling times,
these positions may change so that all Home guard are in a level that can properly protect the queen.
If you think of a roll that is not posted, that we may need or want, let me know I will post that as well.
And by the way, these things are all suppose to be fun, don't let it become work or make yourself miserable.
Raids will be volunteer, for me I go expecting to die, but I always plan to take allot more with me, =)
And I would like to post titles with everyone's names if they decide to choose one,
(those other than the ones stated above), Examples would be: Lady Caylin, or The Lady Caylin,
Lord or His Lordship, Maiden, The Fair Maiden, The Mighty, Sir, The Brave Sir, Lord, Master, The Regal,
The Gallant, The Gallant Sir, The Magnificent, (for those lower levels that may want to apprentice under someone)
Squire, and for those with master trades you may want to just be Tinker, Brew master, Chef, or Tailor, etc.

12/03/01 Announcement : Moonllight has decided to take Teak (me) as her husband, (poor girl, everybody
be especially nice to her, =) She now wears the Willowhawk name, and I could not be happier. We will wait
some to have a formal wedding, to give the guild a chance to get going first, and everyone will be invited.
